About Me & My Studio
My non-digital work is created primarily with scratchboard, watercolor, acrylic, or colored pencil. In the past I’ve enjoyed working in oil, pen and ink, and intaglio. My background is in traditional art and illustration, and also create digital works with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, and Ink. I’m currently working to merge the physical and digital mediums.
In 2011, Siemens Corporation purchased Power On, a scratchboard piece exhibited in The Power of Innovation: Art Inside the New Energy Age.
My illustrations (since 2000) have included book covers targeted for YA, SciFi-Fan, and sales motivation. Other illustrations have been for commercial advertising and non-profit event promotions.
My work has been exhibited in the The Charlotte Art League Gallery, Kings Mountain Art Center in Kings Mountain, NC, Arts on Main in Gastonia, and the Jeanne Rauch Gallery at Gaston College in Dallas, NC
